Wisdom is a priceless jewel
A key to every gate
It paves the way to highest mounts
And turns the hand of fate
Schoolboys are a silly bunch
They shirk their work and bolt then lunch
I have to stop and look again
When I think they soon be men
School girls are quite silly too
The things they say! The things they do!
Little it surprises me
That they soon will women be
