My Memories of Charis
By Barbara Reeve
My memories of Charis are very warm and fuzzy. She was very much a mild-mannered classy, cultured lady. She tied her hair back and always appeared lovely and neat. The thing I have the memory of was her hands. She had beautiful hands with long tapered fingers and beautifully well-shaped, manicured nails. When we played Rook she would lightly tap her cards with them. She had a valiant testimony of the gospel and lived it. I also remember her freckled face was very sweet and refreshing.
